Yes, none of the pregnancy tests that I have peed on have come back positive. I think it is that darned Y chromosome that screws them up.

I believe testing for pregnancy involves checking for a specific hormone in the blood. I’m guessing that’s different than checking for a virus, but I’m not a doctor (although I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once).

The difference is one test detects: an enzyme; the other: a piece of one segment of a specific virus protein which needs to be magnified by hundreds of thousands to a billion, even a trillion times, to register on the test.

See the sense in that difference?
