No, he was elected to go in and change things that needed to be changed and getting America back on course. But he did very little to that end, truth be told. (Appointing judges is in the basic job description definition that befalls every president, it’s the minimum they can do.)
To stir the Dem’s insurrection pot on that day would be akin day to Nixon celebrating his pardon on the anniversary of the Watergate break-in. We’re talking a major self inflicted foot wound.
