A bit of hyperbole here, as there are other pollinators besides bees. However, collapse of bee populations will adversely affect agriculture, perhaps in major ways. We really should be more sensitive to environmental things that impact pollinators, especially bees.

So Paul [McCartney’s] the one who’s still alive? Has he been making much honey? I don’t know about lately, but back in 1968 or so he made “Honey Pie” and “Wild Honey Pie” for The White Album.

I was talking to a bee keeper in southern Ohio who told me that the bee kill off was over several years ago. It isn’t a problem here anymore. That was in a county that was more hay field than crops that used round up.

Soy beans are self pollinating and don’t require assistance from insects.

Actually there is a lot of pollinating done by the wind, flies and other insects so the "There would be no life if the bees die" is so much BS.
Especially since they are talking about the honey bee which is a European import.
Agriculture did just fine without the honey bee for a very long time.
Besides what do they expect the president to do?
Turn on a tap?
