There are good men, but they don’t want them, or are so damn unrealistic they look for Mr. Perfect which does not exist, both sexes are guilty of that however. Glad I date women being I am overseas now, and I am currently dating a couple women from Central/Eastern Europe. They are not perfect but don’t really have the emotional/mental baggage that women in the west have more of, plus down to earth too.
They’re often unrealistic....until they hit the wall. Then they finally start trying to land the kind of men they should have gotten 5 or 10 years ago....often the exact ones they rejected 5 or 10 years ago. The problem is those guys don’t want them now - now that all of their youth is gone and now that she’s made it clear she doesn’t really want to be with him and thinks she’d be settling if she married him. Nobody with any self respect will accept being settled for. Besides, you’re almost certain to end up in divorce court eventually if one of you is starting off thinking that.
