They just need to develop an artificial organ that can process used ATP into fresh ATP.
Then all the energy can be provided via solar panel/nuke etc...
The only food needed would be water and vitamins/minerals and a few other nutrients not part of the ATP cycle.
Speaking of solar panels...
Just went by a solar field which had multipme panels laden with inches of snow. How much solar power is being generated in those panels?
