Yep.
But Texas was listening to everything the progs were whining about.
Then they did something about it.
Abbott signed Senate Bill 1 after the Republican-led Legislature approved it during the second special session that the second-term GOP governor had called this year. Democrats had blocked previous versions of the measure by fleeing the state for weeks, preventing the House from having the quorum necessary to do business.

That is what the prog Texas Democrats spent nearly three weeks in Washington crying in front of Congress to pass voting rights legislation.
Too bad.
Texas cut them off with Senate Bill 1.

One of the best parts of Senate Bill 1, it makes the prog’s favorite trick a felony.
“”The bill would make it a >>>felony<<< for a public official to send someone a mail-in ballot application the person did not request, or to pre-fill any part of any mail-in ballot application they are sending to someone.
It also prohibits public officials from being able to “facilitate” the unsolicited distribution of absentee ballots by third parties— which means local elections officials cannot provide absentee ballot request forms to get-out-the-vote groups. Political parties can still send unsolicited absentee ballot applications, but will have to pay for them, according to the law.””

Excellent rules.
All red/purple states need to have these laws.
Yup, Texas is in good shape. I had go debate some loser just today that was using voting stats they didn’t understand to claim otherwise.
“Then they did something about it.”
By not prosecuting those who engaged in or attempted to engage in voter fraud just allows them the freedom to adapt and do it again.
“Bans officials from mailing unsolicited mail-in ballot applications”
In Michigan, I didn’t receive an unsolicited mail in voter application from the state but I did receive several from both the Trump and Biden campaigns.
