Why don't conservatives just face the fact that when it comes to technology, the Left has done a fantastic job at it.

I'm sorry, but Gab, Clouthub, Parler, and Gettr cannot hold a candle to Twitter. It is the pre-eminent micro-messaging platform. There are a lot of independent conservatives on there.

They will crash under their own weight because look what happened to Dr. Malone, he went on a podcast that has more listeners than CNN, MSNBC and all the network news channels combined and woke tons of people up. Trust me if all conservatives deleted their account Twitter would become a leftist echo chamber.

You gotta fight on their territory folks.

This reminds me of a time in 8th grade when a clique of complete a-holes were having exclusive parties - for some reason, they got to define who was “popular” and who was not.

The sad part was how badly the “unpopular” kids wanted to be invited to those a-holes parties.

What the Left has done a fantastic job of is infiltrating and coopting most things worth having in this world. It is not as if some Leftists are sitting around saying "We really need a global platform that we control to spread our propaganda. Let's get to work!" and then they sit down and write a million lines of code.

What happens is that a bunch of pretty bright individuals create something, like Twitter, from their own ingenuity, and as soon as that thing is proven to have value, the Left swoops down and gets its filthy claws into it. Gab and the others are every bit as viable as Twitter, but Twitter is the one that gained the initial market share. If Gab were ever to get that popular, the Left would do everything it could to get control of it.

A HUGE part of the reason that they are able to achieve this infiltration so well is that they wisely dominated the pop culture, where the upcoming youth and rebellious element live, the same people who go on to create things like Twitter. They made themselves seem like the cool, edgy ones while making conservatives appear to be stodgy old church ladies. That lie then opens the door for all the up-and-comers to be sucked into the cult of the Left, et voila, you have Leftist domination of Twitter, Youtube, etc.

Conservatives in general are not great at coming up with new ideas and risk taking, because, well... they’re conservative - it’s not in their nature.

I often thought that a good way for conservatives and liberals to peacefully coexist and thrive is through the following division of labor:

Conservatives are responsible for the serious stuff, ie, governance, the economy, laws, etc. While the liberals are assigned the fun stuff, entertainment, the arts, restaurants, etc.

I think that would be a match made in heaven. Both sides would get to do what they’re good at and both would benefit.
