Of all the horrible disappointments with people’s reaction to this “pandemic”, I think that of the Israeli government was the worst. A basically right-wing country with a right-wing government, and one credited with having so many smart technical people, I would have hoped that at least they would have kept their heads. But Bibi fell for it as bad as anyone, and Benito is just as bad or worse.

It was never the flu back in the day unless, you were puking your guts out and/or sitting on the pot for hours.

If you had a cough, runny nose and a sore throat..out the door you went into the outside.

Now if someone so much as gets a sniffle its OMG!!! You are contagious!!! Everybody run for your lives!!!

I remember the Mumps..the whole class had it and there was but three or four of us in class in grade school. Measles? HA! Stay home and deal with it. Chicken pox? The same.

I had the whooping cough. Now that one was one pure SOB.
I never had the measles or the chicken pox and my siblings all had it. I didnt get it.
Go figure.

It’s why I never take the flu shot of any kind. I either get the flu or I don’t. And right now it’s about every five years.
