JFK had big money. The Mafia, the old urban political machines, and the old labor unions were powerful and determined to elect him, and it was close enough that they could make a difference. When it came to McGovern, Mondale, Dukakis, or even Jimmy Carter, none of that was true. It was all truer for Biden than for anybody in those 60 years — and, more mail-in voting meant more opportunities to cheat.
Again as I said, it’s a matter of perspective.
I guess if a Republican wins, that means the election was honest.
