My sis in law is Filipina. The purple yam is UBE. And “leche flan” is a Better version of what the Mexicans have. By a thousand miles. Its supposed to be Brown & orange. The best one i buy is the brand name one in Filipino stores called island something (forgot the last word.

And both are ingredients in halo halo or mix mix (eng tl)
