Thanks for the link. Never had any deep-fried cupcakes, candy bars...not even deep-fried dill pickle chips, but I did grow up in the 50’s, with a Hostess factory a few blocks away. You could smell the bread baking every day. Got hooked on their chocolate cupcakes back then. Was glad that somebody bought the company, and started producing their products again. I don’t eat any other Hostess products but the chocolate cupcakes.
I think her psychic died unexpectedly.
My oldest LOVES the gingerbread Oreos. He’s lucky that he doesn’t gain any weight from eating them. I expect that to change for him as he ages.
I guess once you hit 80 years old you can get fussy about all kinds of trivia.
Lol!!!

My fave was always the ‘Snowballs.’ You didn’t see them in all the displays, so it was a real treat to find one back in the day.
Growing up, the man down the street from us was a Hostess delivery guy. Once in a great while he’d let the neighborhood kids ‘raid’ his truck at the end of the day.
You know, back when people were NICE and there wasn’t a weird-o luring kids into their Hostess van, LOL!
I remember those days!! We never locked our doors back then. I miss the Hostess 1/2 price/outlet stores. They went, when the old company closed in 2012. There was one right next to my dentist's office. I'd get my teeth cleaned, then go buy cupcakes. You used to be able to buy all their products at those stores. None of it was ever over the expiration dates, and you could stock up on your favorites.
Yep. Madistan lost their Hostess Bakery (which baked other things), too.
Loved that outlet store! I would buy HUGE bags of bread for my laying hens - but a LOT of it was good enough for humans to eat, too.
Then, they figured out that people were buying ‘bird bread’ for themselves and they stopped doing that, LOL!
It made feeding three teen boys a lot cheaper at the time! ;)
I live in Sacramento and we used to have a Hostess bakery on Arden Way. It was forced to close because the a$$holes who ruin California said that the smell of baking bread is a dangerous air pollutant. They also closed our local Rainbo bakery and the old Muzio Italian bread bakery.
Liberals ruin everything.
They've destroyed just about everything in this country. Makes me glad I'm on the tail-end of my life, don't have any grandchildren to worry about, and hopefully won't live long enough to see this country turned into a third-world commie $hit hole.
Why does she think she is the one to dictate the flavors of Oreos?
