I recently bought the old competitor cookie. Found an online source. “How do you say ‘hello’ to a drox?”

The reason Oreo has so many varieties is to crowd the competition off the shelves.
Sometimes the "free market" gives us fewer real choices.

An Oreo cookie is an Oreo cookie.

No matter what - don’t try the liver and onions flavored ones.

I remember when Oreo filling was made with lard and sugar. I supposed it’s hydrogenated vegetable oil now and corn syrup now. Hyrogenated vegetable oil and high fructose corn syrup are a hell of a lot worse for your health than lard and sugar.

Who cares about other flavors. Just buy the ones you like.
Is she joining the Joe Biden pudding club?

I remember Hydrox cookies.
I looked it up - and Hydrox cookies were introduced in 1908
and are still being produced.
Interestingly - Hydrox came before Oreos which didn't come out until 1912.
(I'm learning so many useless facts today that my head may just explode.)

Tried the java chip Oreos. Not as good as the original.

Up until a couple of years ago, I thought they chanted, “Oh, we love the old one.”
Pretty close.

Yes, Oreo won the cookie war of the 1960s. We were so delighted to find Hydrox available. A bit of a price premium but they have been sooooo good.

My mom used to buy the Hydrox cookies because they were cheaper. We didn’t really care.
