Oh yes, I have seen those crowds at the buffets, especially on Carnival ships cruising from Jacksonville, FL. But they do not look like welfare people. Jacksonville has lot of affluent minorities.
Not even the famously successful smallpox vaccine prevented me from getting sick with smallpox 3 years later. But the vaccine did what all vaccines are supposed to do, which is to help fight virus AFTER infection, and thus reduce chances of getting seriously sick. I recovered from smallpox, a 30%+ mortality virus.
My local hospital publishes stats on people admitted with covid. Unvaxxed outnumber vaxxed by 5:1. Which is exactly what the vaccine is supposed to do, reduce chances of requiring hospitalization with serious symptoms.
YESSS! RCCL & MSC had day long stops on private islands, during my cruises in September an November this year.
It is NOT just the labor cost in the US, the employer has to match the payroll taxes, they have to pay increased work comp ins., they have to follow ungodly regulations, work comp regulations which are NEVER ENDING PLUS the minimum wage is continuously rising so it is NOT only the rising wages it is the matching deduction the employer has to meet!! The rising minimum wage does NOT help the employee,by the time the employee pays the higher cost of goods ect. and the HIGHER payroll taxes taken from them they never SEE the raise!! The ONLY entity seeing a damn raise is the damn government!! I honestly wish the SHEEP could see this!!
You are exactly right. And all those regulations hurt smaller businesses more. Big business has the ability to hire more accountants to deal with government regulations. And big business hands out bigger political donations. So of course the government is going to favor big businesses.
