He couldn’t fire Fauci. The media and the Left put Fauci on a pedestal. Career civil servant saving America and the world from certain death for 40yrs.
They did a fantastic job of propping him when he should be in prison for all the other dirty stiff he’s done over the years, let alone the gain of function stuff.
They painted President Trump into a corner on this.
He was impeached, in part, because of how he fired Comey. Can you imagine what they would have done to him if he went after Fauci.
He did go around Fauci though, when he met with that front line doctors that were successfully treating people and not following the Fauci/CDC protocols.
That’s why Trump was destroyed. He was told he could not do anything or he’d be impeached. Couldn’t hire, couldn’t fire, couldn’t defend himself or American cities, couldn’t keep America working, couldn’t override blue governors and save our seniors. The list seems endless. Trump was completely cowed. All over the threat of potentially placing another unit onto the impeachment/coup assembly line.
