Its hard to find a better toy that is that durable, appreciates in value, and kids across generations can enjoy

plus remaining backwards compatible to the first original plastic bricks in the 1960s

I was getting too old for Legos I guess

We had Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs and my brother had an Erector Set

A fellow I know inherited a barn full of vintage toys his father bought at going out of business auctions. Still in tattered, but original boxes. Had a woodsfull of Checker Cabs in various states too

Had the American Pickers all lined up to visit, but they filled their van before they could get there

He has been piecing them out online and just retired early on the proceeds
