But I agree with Pontiac in a way. A profession like medicine depends a lot on Groupthink, and they really have ratcheted up the groupthink lately.
They also have something called "Standard of Care." If you follow the SoC, you are basically protected against malpractice, and other bad results. Even if it's terrible for your patient. If you go against the SoC, even if it's great for your patient, who knows what could happen.
Many debunked drugs/treatments are still being used, because treatment hasn't caught up with the science.
The doc I really respect is Dr. Jonathan Wright, Tahoma Clinic...he stood up to the Feds and won...@40 years ago...he doesn’t take govt money to this day
