You are doing the right thing to consult your specialist first! Best wishes to you. My aunt suffered from this, and so sorry you have it (that *anyone* has it!).

Thank you for your kind words and link. I don’t want to take the vaccine, even if I didn’t have this illness. I think we just don’t know enough about the vaccine. Right now I am taking the biologic Xeljanz, and it is a miracle drug. I used to be on Methotrexate, and it was terrible for me... three days to recover from the side effects. Now, I have no side effects and feel I can run the Boston Marathon (seriously). So I don’t want to disrupt this state of well-being and play around with my immunity with something I have no idea what will happen in both the short term and long term. Thanks again for your concern.
