how do you cook a steak in an air fryer? I have done chicken wings.....they turn out fine and char the skin well but a steak?

Just put some butter and drop it in, usually takes about 10-15 minutes to get it nice and medium well.

Steaks are awesome in an air fryer. My air fryer has a glass window going round the base of the lid. It allows me to check as it cooks.

I use a 3” elevated rack and put the steak in the center. Depending on thickness it’s generally 450 degrees, 7 mins each side for a medium-well steak. I marinade the steak beforehand in the fridge for 3 days.

For med-rare it’s 2 mins per side for 10 mins so 5 turnovers.
