During the Christmas - New Years week, the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch has a wonderful package of a sleigh ride, dinner, and a concert. We added on a one-night stay at a room in the lodge.

How much?

My daughter lives with her family in Boise. I'll try to remember to tell her about it.

The room was $150 and included an amazing ranch breakfast with scrambled eggs, huge pancakes, the wonderful bacon (Wood’s V-Bar-X is owned by a family member that owns the guest ranch), sweet rolls, yogurts, cereals...it wasn’t just a cheesy “continental” breakfast with stale rolls. Our daughters gave us the sleigh ride, dinner and concert for a Christmas present, so I’m not sure what that costs. They only do that during Christmas week and again (I think) at Valentine’s Day. You’d have to check with the ranch for pricing on that. I heartily recommend it! It’s more well known for summer activities with lots of horseback riding and guided trail rides. They partner with local outfitters for river and lake fishing.
