I line two cookie sheets with foil. Lay the bacon out side-by-side

I put the thick slice bacon on a cookie sheet, and freeze it. Multiple layers separated by waxed paper. Then put the frozen strips in a gallon storage bag in the freezer. Take it out as necessary.

That’s a good idea too. I’ve stacked the bacon, and put it in a plastic bag in the freezer, but I’ve only done that if I’m going to be away from home for a while. I have a small apartment-sized fridge, and the freezer is big enough for me to store some items like bacon, sausages, chicken, burgers, hotdogs, lunch meat, cheeses, packaged vegetables, ice cream, etc., but I don’t have enough room to put a frozen turkey breast in it. I have to buy a turkey breast a few days before Thanksgiving and Christmas, and let it thaw in my fridge.
