Yeah, I noted how the story excised the part about the man opening his mouth. It does not excuse her getting disruptive & physical. Could just be that the editor was streamlining the story, or they just wanted to focus on her actions. But you can bet that her lawyer will play that excuse in court.
The man’s verbal entrance into Karen’s warpath wasn’t mentioned for the first day or so when the story originally broke. It was hilarious to find out that he was that quick-witted. As Karen complained when told to find a temporary seat that she wasn’t Rosa Parks, he retorted, “This isn’t a bus, you aren’t black, and this isn’t Alabama.” lol.
Most people would have shaken their head or laughed it off. Karen started the whole thing by being drunk/drugged and belligerent before the old man even opened his mouth.
