It sounds like another letter is called for! Can you put a blanket at the base of the door?

I have a “draft dodger” that I made while I was still in Henderson. It wasn’t needed in Happy Valley, and I almost donated it but then changed my mind. It’s an odd thing, so it didn’t pack well, and it was found early on.

As I left for church this morning, I slid the rag entry rug under the door which helped to block the worst of the draft, and locking the door made a fairly good seal to the weather stripping, but as long as I’m inside, I can put the “draft dodger” in his place. It helps. Of course, I still have to keep the windows open a crack, but I do that no matter where I live. I don’t like stale air.

And yes, a letter will be written because of the door and the bedroom light switch, but I also forgot to add that I need two large burner plates for the stove. Both of them have “something green” splashed on them and it won’t come off with the cleaner I tried. I won’t use the burners as long as they’re like that, so I want replacements. Then, hopefully, I can begin to feel at home.

Up and ready to go wash clothes. It’s 17°. The low is yet to hit.
