My diesel can go 810 miles on a tankful at 65MPH.It’s done it twice. And then it takes 4 minutes to refill it at any one of 400,000 stations nationwide.
I have taken my 2009 gas powered Cobalt manual shifter and gotten 55 mpg averaging 60 mph on a real highway. With 13 gal. fuel tank....that is 715 miles. I wonder what my mpg would be with 1.6 liter diesel with manual shifter and better gearing and 200 pd lighter car....and coefficient of drag at O,19...
It also doesn’t discuss our infrastructure.

Out lines are old and we have work, already, until I’m dead.
