“To be drafted into the army?”

How many 15 year olds lied about their ages in years past to fight for their country? Plenty!
Joseph Plum Martin enlisted in the Continental Army at 15 and mustered out as a 23 year old Sgt.

A 12 year old lied about his age and joined the navy in 1942. His enlistment was found out when his CO sent a letter home commending him for his hard work and diligence. His mother contacted the navy with proof that he was only 12. He was discharged and sent home.
A 15 year old medic lost his life on Omaha beach.

“Buy a gun?”

Absolutely.
And to be held accountable for how their guns are used.

“Purchase liquor?”

Why not?
Age has never kept anyone from getting alcoholic beverages when they wanted some. Again, hold them responsible for their actions.

“Pilot a plane?”

As long as they are trained and licensed why not. Not sure about jumbo jets but if they have the skill and maturity Let’em have at it.

“Enter into financial contracts?”

I took out my first loan at 15.
Never missed a payment, never late on a payment. When I was 17 I was doing the banking for the farm. My parents double checked me from time to time but there was never a problem.

Most of the “teenagers” around here were too busy working to be considered kids.

All the gray area arguments used to push for sexual consent for minors. Just what the homos want done. They want the teenage boys.
