I have a son who graduated with a mechanical engineering degree in Dec 2020. He is now working as a plumber.
Be proud of that, Dad. He’s probably pulling in more $$$ than any starting position in any company. After a few years of hands-on business experience (e.g., showing up on time, working in difficult situations, etc) he will be gold to any company to take on as a supervisor.
