It would be amazing to put together a mashup of TOS episodes, make them as close as possible to what is going on today. Almost like how the Law & Order TV writers would rip storylines straight from the day’s headlines.

The person who played Garak also played the Scorpio Killer in the movie you reference in your tag line. I thought his speech in "In the Pale Moonlight" was his best 2 minutes ever.

This quote grabbed my and instantly made me ponder. It seems that politicians often benefit from and very often exploit a crisis, but I think of diplomacy and diplomats in terms more of seeking stasis, symbiosis and perhaps only temporarily benefiting from crisis when it escalates them personally.
Do you think it was an unfortunate choice of words, or am I too unfamiliar and naive about diplomacy?
