Yep. Even a wall, a floor, and a bar across a doorway can get the job done. Weights are cheap, and gym memberships are also pretty cheap. Unfortunately, there’s also a plethora of terrible information out there, particularly on the internet and social media.
My workouts take from 15 to 23 minutes. 2-3 times per week.
My wife only works out once a week. Her progress has been outstanding. She started lifting from an ill-advised bet with our then 14 year old son as to who could bench more. Now he’s 19+, and she’s still lifting. Nobody has accused me of manipulating that situation to get her to exercise; not yet, anyway. ;)
Free weights often show up at our local thrift store. Very inexpensive!
