You’re right about Obama taking credit for getting bin Laden.
This is te real story, that you can put together from bits and pieces everywhere:
The military advised Obama that they had bin Laden in their sights. Three different times. On all three occasions Obama stopped the mission in the last moments.
Finally, in frustration, Leon Panetta said “okay under what conditions could we go?”
Then Panetta made sure those conditions were set up, and called Obama off the golf course to tell him the mission was underway.
Obama still tried to call it off, but Either Panetta or HilLIARy or both called him out into the hallway and told them they would go public if he did.
That’s why is Obama is sitting in the corner like a doofus while the adults in the room watched the mission go down.
However, Obama was happy to take credit, announcing how when he bravely “gave the order” the military was ready.
He never gave the order.

Despite the empty suit not wanting to damage his friendly relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood, HilLIARy—who in Huma had her own Muslim Sisterhood gal-pal—was able to convince Barry that stories exposing many elements of forgery of his faked Long Form Birth Certificate (LFBC), which was introduced just two days earlier (4/27/2011) was getting too much negative press and needed to be wiped off the front pages of America’s newspapers.
Other than that, they knew bin Laden was already dead from kidney failure in the caves of Tora Bora, but letting Democrats take the credit for deep-sixxing GHWB’s actor, the supposed Master Terrorist, was still worth PR points to keep the 2012 election in Democrat hands and get rid of that pesky, lingering, botched, forged LFBC story once and for all.
