My wife and many other people suffer from White Coat Syndrome, where/when someone, an RN, aide or a doctor with a white coat on sends BP’s up and out of control by simply doing a BP check. Usually by the 3rd BP check (at the same time/place) she usually becomes normal after the BP second test.

That happened yesterday as a vascular Doctor did a BP test to be a final test before a hip replacement.

My wife’s readings, 1 done by a RN and then one by the doctor were really high. Her 3rd reading by the doctor was 105 over 65, which is her normal reading around our home.
