The BLM mission goes much deeper than boycotts.
Black Lives Matter (BLM) is urging a boycott of “white” businesses. The official Black Xmas website urges “No spending with White corporations” and “buy exclusively from Black-owned businesses” until Jan. 1. It’s the seventh year BLM has proffered this perversion of the ecumenical spirit of Christmas.
Racism begets racism. The ugly racism of the BLM message invites the retaliation to buy only from white-owned businesses. Thus do racist directives make for a society more segregated, intolerant, and angry. Racism always moves in that direction.
Let’s establish first principles. In a free-market capitalist system, you can shop wherever you want. That’s what makes it free. BLM has the right to do “racist shopping,” and so can anyone else. But that doesn’t make it good or right. The obvious far better policy is for consumers to seek the best products and services -- irrespective of the eye, hair, or skin color of the provider.
Then there’s hypocrisy. While not wanting to buy from them, BLM has unhesitatingly accepted large amounts of money from the “white” businesses they disparage. Amazon, Apple, Coca-Cola, Google, Microsoft, and many others have donated millions of dollars to BLM. The money was eagerly taken, no boycott there. But imagine the enormous protest if those companies funded an organization promoting exclusively white-owned businesses.
Ironically, if BLM has its way, the free market, which BLM exploits with impunity, would cease to exist. For the BLM mission goes much deeper than boycotts. Their objective is nothing less than the destruction of our economy and the elimination of capitalism -- frequently referred to, by them, as “white capitalism” or “white-supremacist-capitalism.” Destruction is no exaggeration.

BLM is the combination of marxism and black supremacy. It is Black Liberation Theology like Barack’s church. It has the ideology of ending the free market system, eliminating white people (either from power or from existance, I think it is the latter) and taking white people’s stuff. But, at that point there would never be any new stuff.
My family is boycotting, inter alia, Gillette and Coca-Cola - because of their racist advertising, racist corporate policies (internal "trainings," etc.), and so forth. We hope that they go bankrupt.
I would also boycott televised sports (because of the disrespect to our flag and/or national anthem), but never watched a minute of sports in my life anyway. If there were only some other way that I could hurt them...

I wasn’t a racist until I was beaten and robbed of my groceries, wallet and phone by black youths on my home from the store, then blamed by black politicians and community leaders for instigating the attack, then ignored by black media personalities, and told by the black ADA that no charges would be filed against my black assailants.
When all was said and done, I was still missing my cell phone, wallet, and two teeth, and received a bill for $20k for the ambulance ride and emergency room care.
Now I will never trust and refuse to interact or associate with any black youths, ministers, community leaders, politicians, D.A.s and media personalities. Heck, I go out if my way to avoid the black neighbors’ in my building. Won’t even ride in the same elevator with them.
Now if that makes me a racist, then so be it. I don’t give a sh!t anymore what black people or their “community” thinks.

if noting else, it will definitely make shopping at our local mall much safer. (Unless of course they are on a looting spree). I support them in this cause.
Easy to counter with a “White Out” by boycotting all black buisnesses and buisnesses with token blacks in their woke commercials. Don’t want money from white folk? Lets see how long your black woke asses survive?
