Does this author, a doctor, realize the brutal implications of her facile choice of metaphor?
To adopt my own metaphor, this appears to be the medical version of our “betters” deviously foisting upon us a main course of “Never let a crisis go to waste.” paired with a nice side dish of “Build back better (รก la, the Six Million Dollar Man) and expecting us to swallow it like good children consuming a nutritious meal from their oh-so-loving mother.
Not gonna happen. OGINJ 1.0 is basically all they’re going to get. I hope they are eventually happy with that. Otherwise, we may not end up getting along very well.
