If you’re in Manhattan, you gotta go. Everything is great. The pastrami and the latkes in particulars. McSorleys, which claims to be the oldest bar in Manhattan, is nearby and should be included

Katz's makes a really good pastrami sandwich. So did the Carnegie Deli but they are now closed for good.
I always eat mine without the mustard. Just the meat and rye bread is all you need. Why spoil it with condiments?
