And all these years later, we are still in servitude...
I pray that I am wrong but I can see how our beloved St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be cancelled yet again...
Between the Unions and Northern Money, my hometown is run by a twisted minority that just like Sherman, was handed over by good people fleeing the city.
We always went to the parade when I was a kid. Once I started working full time, I would volunteer to work for others that day.
The Savannah St. Patrick’s Day event has changed. It used to be a fun event. Two years ago I attended, which was the year of all the blm crap. Shortly after nightfall when the good bands normally start up there was a blm rally right in front of the Hampton Inn. We were getting some street food from one of the food trucks and I grabbed my wife and told the rest in our party it was time to go.
My MO has been in Savannah for over 30 years and it’s sad that she has watched the city decline so much. The leadership are primarily “give me dats”
Which is why they’ve seen the rif raf get away with almost everything.
Even Tybee has changed, the same weekend we were there was a black biker or some other organizations get together. Was a sad spectacle.
