Throngs of cheering students. Ignorant of what they just imposed on the rest of their country.
Hitler was the father to a nation of adolescents. This guy’s got Castro’s beard, BJ’s fat, and the Kenyan’s gift of gab. Every country needs adults to lead. JFK had that youthful energy that people(women) got caught up in. That plus recklessness. Pinochet worked but not this time. You can’t hide those that disappeared this time. Somebody’s got to be the bad guy and this young fella will be just that to his enemies.
It’s a generation that has never personally witnessed the 1970-73 circus freak show of violence, dysfunction, shortage, hyperinflation and hunger. Instead they’ve been indoctrinated with nonsensical drivel about “fascism” and “inequality”.
Gabriel Boric himself is a joke. He never in his life had a job or a steady source of income prior to entering Chamber of Deputies. His academic record is a farce; his grades were a disaster and he never completed anything. His only accomplishment was being a “student leader” - at the tender age of 26. He spent most of his adult life sponging off his parents. The man isn’t qualified even to run an empanada stand.
A sad day indeed for Chile and the chilenos. It’s going to be a rough 4 years.
