That would work perfectly. Why throw Trump back into trying to navigate the swamp. Let DiSantis deal with that. Give Trump the job he is uniquely qualified for, representing us internationally and bringing the Chinese to heel. I’ve never seen anyone better internationally than Trump. Even better than Reagan.
Trump will no longer be relevant by 2024. More effective fighters - ones without Trump’s liabilities and baggage - are emerging and over the next 3 years will prove better options.
Trump will have spent all that time on the sidelines becoming increasingly irrelevant, as he was in Virginia just a few weeks ago.

DeSantis would be the best heir apparent, but he’s doing such great work as Florida’s Governor, I’d hate to take him away from that important job just to be a backup to President Trump.

Meadows? You have to be kidding. I hope never again to hear that he is near the whitehouse! He is the one who advocated that Trump surrender to Biden after the initial election returns. Also advised Trump to not listen to other advisors who wished to take stronger constitutional measures against the election fraud.
