I would love to see some photos of that car. I’ll bet it looks great...
It is a great commercial
A white middle age male that wasn’t a buffoon or a burglar, a “racist” a war monger or an ugly fool who pushes women into the arms of kind, enlightened and morally superior minority men.
Whoever created the ad must have done so against incredibly formidable corporate opposition amid the wailing and screaming of boardroom females.
Thanks for wrecking me.
I’ve had most of those cars at one time or another. Don’t have even one car now because every time one of my wife’s friends needed help she’d sell them a car-—cheep. But I still have all my trucks-—she’s not allowed to mess with my trucks! And I have enough Jimmy engines to cover me for a century or so. Not a single one needs a battery.
I loaded a pic of it on the International Chevelle Registry some time ago. Go to chevelleregistry.macswebs.com/gallery/1969.html and scroll down to #15, Fathom Green, 2dr, 350/300hp, with original rally wheels. It was completely disassembled in 2004 and every part was repainted, recoated, with the correct finish. The interior is about 90% original including the headliner aND dashpad. The interior has bucket seats, 8 track tape player, console, AM/FM radio. One unique feature is it came w/ front disc brakes which was an option on every chevelle except the SS model where it was required.
The international Chevelle Registry is a cool place to find info on historic chevelles.
Absolutely beautiful. When I lived in Los Angeles, The Bob’s Big Boy restaurant in Burbank, CA would have classic car night every Friday. I would go up there every few months. I saw some of the most beautiful cars ever made. Jay Leno would show uo every once in a while with some of his cars.
