Now it just appears you’re trying to save face. Go ahead and find where Schrenk did the calculation of extending boundary layer control to all the wetted surface of the craft, and how much the lift coefficient would be changed. It increases the coefficient of lift by 8X. Keep in mind that at transonic speeds, more than 90% of the drag is skin friction drag, which is caused by the boundary layer.
