Hospitals have very, very, few beds. Everything is modeled for outpatient care services. If you haven’t been shot, giving birth, or having a stroke, they stabilize you, patch you, refer you for follow-up care with a specialist, and that specialist treats you on an out-patient basis.
This time of year the hospitals always are full, this is a time of viruses, accidents, food poisoning, and heart attacks from shoveling snow. Also, they never tell us the citizenship of those sick. I suspect our mass distributed hordes from South of the Border.
