—”This is a big shame all around. Too bad the rotties’ owner did not bother to train them properly.”
Yes, very sad all around.
We have a friend that has a Rottweiler and a wall full of training awards; our vet says even the best trained are only 90% and 10% they will do something else.
We used to dog-sit the Rottweiler, I kept my distance!
Our Australian Shepperd and the Rottie got along just fine... BUT, I saw the Rottie teaching our pup about the ‘magic fountain’. Here kid, just flip the cover-up and all the water you want!!!
A carry permit without a firearm is pretty useless.
never, EVER go jogging or riding your bike without carrying iron.
I took our dog in for his shots today. He weighs 31 pounds. After spending two months with our daughter’s 70 pound pit bull he learned that he’s not that big. But I can’t lift even a 30 pound dog now and the vet said that he has an elderly (I’m old but not elderly) client who’s dog weighs 90 pounds. The man can’t control the dog on or off a leash.
—”I prefer cats.”
Cats are nice too, but our Australian Shepherds cover more of my wife and my feet in the winter.
Even more useful with the new biden gas bills.
Why did the man do that. Shoot the dog. I read on Free Republic that Rottweilers are gentle and kind as a new born baby. They would not hurt anything or anyone. Second only in gentleness only to pit bulls.
These canine “accidents” make me sick. Everyone has “good dogs”, until they attack.
OK, that does it, because we have coyote. The deer have a path through our backyard. I’ve decided an invisible fence isn’t going to work, but my better half doesn’t want to spend the $ on an aluminum fence.
I have a ‘squirrel dog’, a ‘Feist’ who loves to hunt squirrels, anything really. Will a professionally installed invisible fence stop my strong-willed dog from going outside the boundaries? And then there are the coyotes who’d love to make lunch of my dog.
Rottweilers are dangerous potential killers like pit bulls and German Shepherds to name the top 3…a lot of people are dumb as a rock when it comes to dogs… and other things…look who’s president…fjb…
He will be a renter with nary a penny.
No normal person has dogs like this.
Have it professionally installed and you and your dogs will live happily ever after

We’re not talking about the dog owner or the dogs, we’re talkin about innocent people walking by. Would you let your young child walk by a home where you knew two aggressive pitbulls were out front just because the owner told you they had a professionally installed invisible fence? It’s disturbing how many dog owners have no idea what animal instincts are.
expensive mutts
A guy across the way was raising rottweilers. He was very disrespectful of the men with kids in his neighborhood. Several of his dogs died mysteriously, several more disappeared. Other bad luck befell him. He abandon his mortgage and moved away. At least that’s what they say.
Worse than that, IIRC if the dog runs straight out, and gets shocked as he goes through the barrier, then the electric field generally prevents return to the fenced yard.
“He will be a renter with nary a penny.”
Not likely in that neighborhood.

I had a woman friend who had five LARGE dogs. More than once I saw them yank her off her feet and drag her.
An invisible fence might keep your dog in but it won’t keep dangerous animals out.
I’ve always thot my concealed carry would more likely involve downing a dog.
