I have emailed my Congresswoman, but did not receive confirmation my email was received. I requested that the Congresswoman inquire why Mr. Epps has not been arrested.
I have phoned my Congresswoman’s office before with the same question. They did not seem to know who Mr. Epps is. I left a phone message for a call back based on the new revalations; there is no one answering the phone today. I have also written a letter.
Does any think I will hear back?
No, I doubt they will respond to an email. Depends upon his staff.
I have a good relationship with my congressman. There was a time that I sent one of his staff an email update on a subject I had called to his attention. That went on for a couple of years.
I think the best results are his home town staff or his DC staff, with direct phone call to make your plea for attention on the subject.
Relationships take a while to build. You have to come across credible and well informed on the subject.
Some Congressmen simply respond to nothing. Not Ever. I know some of those. John Cornyn is one of them. Of course, all I have ever done is eat them out for the stupid stuff he does. He is totally bought. It is pointless to even call people like that.
