I once considered Russell Brand to be annoying and moronic.
He is starting to grow on me....

Geesh, he is using his celebrity status to call out the institutions,etc, and you come off with that crappy comment.
He actually has a pretty good show (the one on Youtube anyway, havent seen the others). Surprisingly insightful for a liberal. Hes come a long way now that hes not an addict, more intellectual than one would expect someone with that many burnt out cells to be.
He’s been seeing it for a while. He’s independent slightly left but he’s awake. He just wants everyone to be free to do what they want as long as you don’t harm anyone.
It’s shocking, knowing what he used to be. But he’s been drug and alcohol free for a while now.

Believe it or not but quite a few British are showing up here in the states since England started down the road to islamification.
Two days ago I talked to a lady from the Midlands. She and her husband came here five years ago.
Their son and his family followed a year later.
A year after that her daughter and her family came over.
Oh, they all want TRUMP back in the Oval Office.
I saw a video on You Tube about a British woman some time ago who had some kind of a small theater group touring the US. She seemed pro-American until at one point she goes full socialist going on about how America should a ‘’free health care system like the UK’’.
I’m neither a strict Anglophile nor an Anglophobe although generally I really don’t like the Brits.
For crying out loud I don’t care if Jesus Christ himself showed up looking to get in here, I’m sick and tired of ALL immigration.
We take in almost a million people a year. No nation on Earth does that.
I’m fed up with The United States having been turned into some Motel 6 for the whole damned world.
I think the lady I spoke with would feel pretty much at home with most of us. She was no fan of socialized medicine, stifling free speech and unregulated (invasive) immigration.
As far as taking in one million immigrants a year thats only the LEGAL ones. Add 2-5 million illegals, on a slow year, and we’re closer to the real number.
Yeah, ZERO immigration until we’ve deported EVERY illegal, no matter their present circumstances.

And then go back to pre-1965 levels of immigration: 300,000 a year with the guarantee that new arrivals are not ‘’on the public charge’’.
My people left Ireland 160 years ago and no one was here ready to give them free anything.

The 1965 law needs to DIE and the sooner the better.
For one thing we should only be letting in Europeans and at this point preferably Eastern Europeans as the west has gone socialist in the worst way. I am open to people from other countries with education and skills. No H1B’s to take the place of Americans though. That has to stop.
And while we’re at it, get Ellis Island back up and running. It served a great purpose.
