Yes, no, maybe, sort of.

Early '80's working drilling rigs in the Devil River valley (Texas y'all), on occasion a jock out of Laughlin AFB would see the rig lights on the valley floor.

The jock would then make a sonic pass perpendicular to the valley over the rig.

Gave everyone on the location a simulated heart attack.

Happened to me twice.

i lived in a sonicboom testing area back when and it skeeerd the cows sh!tless... milk-less too
