Thanks grey_whiskers. It’s not the dialing, it’s that I don’t want the thing listening to everything I say and I don’t want it tracking everywhere I go. Plus, I live so rural that up until quite recently the cell service was so spotty is was useless. I’m told it has improved but I still don’t want a cell phone appendage. Hey...that’s just me.
I treat mine like a landline, and any conversations that I want private are done in two rooms away.
