The house is less than 5 years old. The owner is in Hawaii (LOL!).
The island has it’s own hydroelectric plant with a diesel generator back up. I just talked with PR on the other side of the island. Power is out there too. That means the hydroelectric plant is offline. The generator is located downtown, less susceptible to line damage. It usually takes about an hour to get the power restored unless there are power lines down within the town. If there are could be a while.
Aaannnd... One hour an 20 minutes.
