Well, points for one thing: Who controls the capital is, indeed, the central problem of politics today, or rather, using propaganda and censorship to obscure the answer is the central problem of politics today.
The essential point is that all substantial economic effort and production requires capital. Should capital then be controlled by government or by private individuals? Yet the question nearly answers itself in that it is hard to find any economic activity that requires or benefits from being capitalized and fully run and controlled by government instead of private individuals. Even the apparent examples like road building and weapons development fall apart on examination because they work best when government acts as the contracting agency and hires private companies to do the work.
