How many “L”s are supposed to be in “Welcome” anyway?
Why would you trust these goobers that can’t even spell?
Like those dopey Spaniards with the dirty slides and the Dollar Store
microscopes that “saw” the little metal monsters. These people
are drunk and full of malarkey.
not everything science is scary. In fact, “Three of their programs – Delta, 1KD and HOPE – are poised to develop incredibly invasive tech-focused, and in some cases overtly transhumanist, medical technologies, including a program exclusively focused on using artificial intelligence (“AI”), mobile sensors, and wearable brain-mapping tech for children three years old and younger. “
sounds pretty exciting. Our technology for artificial limbs is pathetic, super costly, and largely stuck in the 80’s. (when kids with 3-d printers can do better, it’s an issue). If we can build appendages with sensors that work just like or as close to just like ‘real’ as possible, imagine how that would help amputees, the war wounded, and those born with inadequate limbs.
Brain mapping is pretty exciting, too. Imagine being able to diagnose a child’s neurological abnormality or the extent of damage in a stroke patient without shoving them into an MRI machine for up to an hour with all it’s scary noises and lights, just to get a 2-d image. Or in places where you’ll never find a MRI for miles - like battlefields and remote villages - on Mars.
