I’ve always believed that the good Lord gave us the solutions to most of our problems if only we can find them.

In my Bible, Genesis 1:29, where God gives man all of the plants, there is no asterisk exempting tobacco, marijuana, and opium.

Too many people in modern churches believe there is an exemption.

Too many people in modern churches believe there is an exemption.

What does that even mean? We were given the plants to use for nonsinful purposes. Using them for sinful purposes is not an "exemption" - it is a matter of not being in sin.
