The only Silver Lining I see in this is that Hitler was out of power in 15 years. Of course his country was devastated as was most of Europe.

The only Silver Lining I see in this is that Hitler was out of power in 15 years. There is no Allied armed forces riding to our rescue this time. It's up to us.
