What if it’s being prescribed for a legitimate and “legal” purpose?
Name any other innocuous drug that the FDA has gone out of their way to police and restrict.
The FDA is in for a big surprise.
One reason I posted the customs list is to show how little is actually seized compared to what actually arrives.
I am familiar with this process because I ordered “illegal” Cuban cigars from abroad for several years.
None were ever actually seized.
My estimate is that something like 50,000 boxes of Cuban cigars are shipped to US customers and pass through customs each month.
The seizure rate is something like one tenth of one percent.
The packaging even says “cigars” right on the customs declaration!
So—it is unlikely that customs will do all that much better with this issue.
Sometimes the headlines and the real world are far far apart.
