I still would have given Instacart a chance to make good on this before I posted anything. If they didn’t try they they deserve both barrels.
We all need to know who our enemies are - there are too many people and their companies filled with hatred for us who can do us real harm. Do you think Tara needs to be allowed to hurt further vulnerable people? Instacart needs a shot across the bow and needs to be given the opportunity to step up but this needs to be done publicly so no other criminal employees will feel shielded and allowed to do further harm.
Again, publicly. Not quietly on the phone so so one else knows the crime committed against an elderly couple by a low life criminal who literally took food away from vulnerable people.
If I had a business, I would have a staff meeting to let everyone know if anyone disrespects our military, our police or anyone because of a political belief, I would make it a life mission to recoup any losses from them for the rest of their lives, would help law enforcement and any other resources to get any information they need to see if laws were broken and there is the door if they have a problem with that.
This would be the right move.
My wife had groceries delivered to an out of town relative via Instacart. One hot summer day the Instacart left the groceries on the porch without knocking on the door or calling as requested. Hours later he found it. The ice cream melted and the frozen foods spoiled.
My wife called Instacart and they refunded the entire order.
The downside was she was on the phone for two hours before they reversed the credit card charge.
Even after posting the pictures, I would still contact Instacart for a refund.
